I'm sorry it has taken so long for me to get some of the pictures up on the site as promised. I won't bore you with my excuses. Thanks to Chuck Norcutt for the photos that are posted. I hope to get more up as soon as the Winter Semester is over. Chuck has volunteered to send a larger copy of a photo if you will give send him  the  first 8 characters of the image file name.   Some are IMG_nnnn.jpg and  others are SAM_nnnn.jpeg. They also have an "e" or "ec" or "er"  appended at the end but that is not needed for identification.  It will also find it faster if you tell him it was at the rally, the bbq & game or the banquet. The photos are in 800 x 600 format so you can right click the photo, download it to your computer and then have it printed .

AMAT 50 YEAR REUNION

COMMITTEE MINUTES

May 22, 2010

Those present: Alice Powers, Pattianne Nagel, Marilyn Heglin, Len Troncole, Corinne Maschio Hartmann, Chuck Sorcabal, Larry Hurst, Larry Hartmann.

  1. Decision to have the reunion dinner at Kellogg West on the Cal Poly campus October 22, 2011. There will be a small dance floor and there will be an open bar and buffet for the dinner. Forty rooms have been set aside at the Kellogg West Hotel for any alumni needing accommodations. The cost is $100 per night.
  2. October 8 is homecoming date for this year. Next years homecoming date will not be decided until next year, so we will go ahead with the dates of October 21, 22, and 23, 2011 as festivities for the 50th. We are hoping to get a tour of the school on Friday and perhaps a BBQ. The 23rd will be the date for a picnic.
  3. Get as many people to sign up for the reunion as possible through the website Chuck has developed. Everything will be posted on that site. Contact everyone you have kept in touch with over the years. If you know anyone that Chuck doesn’t have make sure Chuck gets the information. Corinne will send out email with corrected emails within the next two weeks.
  4. Will have a memorial wall of all alumni who have passed over the years, particularly those who gave their lives for our country.
  5. Corinne presented a sample booklet from another reunion and each person had written a little something about themselves along with a picture of the person when in high school, and a picture of the person today. She also shared an example of a great name badge for easy identification with picture. She will pursue costs for our next meeting.
  6. There is $500 in the alumni fund. Alice Powers gave her check of $100 today. A check in the amount of $500 was given to Cal Poly to hold the room for the dinner at Kellogg West.
